  • Hi Arul, Thank you for updating such useful stuff. However, I have a query about this sheet. If I want to fill in this attendance sheet for the month of April, it's not allowing me to input backdated information. Could you please assist me with this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hello all, This is a nice piece of information. Thanks, Arul! I just wanted to know if the daily marking of attendance should be done through the signature of the CL (contract labor). Is there any other way through which attendance can be marked? We are trying biometric, but as the fingerprints are not clear enough, we are considering alternatives. Need help.

    Thanks & Regards,

The format Arul attached is a nice format meant for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking. The report on the next page will help you get a snapshot and also verify monthly bills regarding the same. This is not a replacement for time cards that need to be signed by the supervisor or a replacement for the muster roll for regular employees. These are prescribed formats and tools for enhancing productivity and data accuracy.

  • Hi,

I believe that HR professionals using manual attendance sheets spend a significant amount of time maintaining attendance records, creating reports for clock-in and clock-out times, delays, overtime, etc., for processing payroll. The best way to save time and reduce manual errors is by adopting an attendance management software.

  • Dear experts,

Could you please share any templates or formats used for overseeing and monitoring CL attendance management when the principal employer only needs to observe the contractor's operational procedures or methodologies?

I have suggested that the contractor begin conducting internal audits on attendance management and related issues every two weeks. This will help prevent any instances of non-compliance.

    Thank you.
