I work at an IT company. Our total strength is around 120 employees. We need to maintain their attendance at the end of the month. Could you please advise on the format we should prepare for their attendance?

Dear Pooja,
You may maintain the attendance in a simple Excel sheet only. Start with E-Code and Name of the employee, then put the column for Designation and Date of Joining. Then onwards date and month. Below them, mark Present, Absent, Leave, or Holiday. By this way, only you may maintain it in a very simple way. Moreover, at the end, put the formula and calculate all the Absent and leaves taken in that month.

Why don't you try to automate your leave and attendance system? With that, you no longer have to update the leave balances at the month-end and waste your time following up on discrepancies.
