One of the employees who worked with us for about 5 months contributed to PF/Pension Fund during that period. Sometime after leaving the services, he passed away. At the time of his death, he was not employed anywhere, and neither had he transferred nor withdrawn his PF. As far as I understand, the nominee is eligible to withdraw the PF amount. My question is - will the nominee (his wife) also be eligible for the pension benefits?

(Fact Checked)-The nominee (wife) is eligible for both PF and pension benefits if the deceased employee had contributed to the pension fund. The widow can claim both benefits. (1 Acknowledge point)
