2. There is no HR for the company only 3 Directors and staff of 8 persons. So no one has discussed about payment structure.there is no deduction of PF.
No TA,DA. Still I get all the expense when i am out for Sales Call.
I want to ask ?

In a small organisation, owners do not bother with such things.
You need to decide whether you are comfortable working in such a company.
More important, you should have got these things (and your terms of employment) clarified when you joined. You can also ask now if you wish.
Many small companies do not give appointment letter as they fear it being misused. In many cases the owner does. It have time or does not know how to write it.he is more interested in running his business, not with hr
If you are getting your agreed salary, then what you should be more concerned is with getting experiance certificate and relieving letter if you leave some day. No one asks for copy of appointment letter as such
Ta and da are not compulsory in a company. It depends on your company rules. If they are paying you actual expenses then mostly you do notmget at or da. In any case, ta da applies in case of outstation visits.
Pf does not apply to our company.
Where no structure is given, all salary will be basic. Small companies do not bother with such things unless the salary is above taxable Limits

Hi Swarna,
Did your employer specify a limit for your performance at the time of appointment for payment of such incentives. As to at what level they consider your performance satisfactory. and if they are still not paying any incentive to you, better you ask them the level of performance they want. i.e in monetary terms how much business they want from you in a month or so to reach the satisfactory level of your performance. Better if you ask them to fix a target for you and if you achieve that target, you can claim your incentives. For this better if you take a written concent or do this by sending them a mail, which will be in your records.
Beside that some companies give appointment letter or confirmation letter at the completion of probation period. So better if you ask them is it your probation period and how long is it?
Hope this info will help you

Just a point of warning.
Owners of small companies often get upset on being asked such things. They get a feeling that they are being questioned or that the employee is asking for things without proving himself through his work, etc (i was in similar mindset once upon a time)
So when you talk to your owners, be polite and clarify to him first that you wish to get something's clarified so that you have a clear goal to work towards.
For appointment letter, tell him u need to show it to the bank for taking a loan, etc, so can u please issue it to me. You may have to draft it your self in the end (happened in one firm I worked for. The owner said - ok, make it, I will sign it. I don't have time to make it)
Ensure your approach is non threatening but one where you are asking for favour / cooperation.
U would be curious to know the result, so please post it here or send a personal message to me
