Hi sir, I have a current new offer hence sent an email to the current company and the company accepted my resignation.
But in the offer company, after submitting the experience letter found overlap in previous & current companies. So they asked to get it correct.

But the previous company denied it due to saying why you approach late and it can not be changed now our finance year change and also share me a screenshot of the Online portal manager accept resignation on 5- 11 -21. But in the same screenshot, my request date is also visible on 30 -09 -21. Now they are bounding me to accept this overlap letter. After leaving the company on 30 Sep. In the same email, it's mentioned by my last day would be 30 Sep. But they did not revert from company hr and manger side.

I left the company on 30 Sep after writing and giving handover to the company. So can I take action on it due to the overlap of my experience and career getting spoiled?

Regards
Lalit

Quite frankly, I don't see why your new employer is even bothered with it and how they expect you to get it corrected.
By law, you have no grounds to force the employer to change his records.
You can at best, request them to help you out.
