Dear Sir/Madam.
This is for my relative. he is currently working as lecture in engineering college for 1 year. he wanted to resign from current organization due to his personal reason, so he submitted the resignation letter one month back and he is doing his duty for last 1 month. In appointment letter they mention either give 3 months notice or pay base salary of three months. Due to his personal problems, he cant provide 3 months, instead he has been serving for 1 month and ready to give 2/3 months salary. The organization doesnt accept his resignation and doesnt provide relieving letter and doesnt tell exact reason for not accepting resignation. they are holding certificates.
He doesnt know what to do and he cant continue to work from there after one month. please let me know how to proceed further.
Thanks

It is advisable to reliev with relieving letter from current organization, but if current college not provide relieving letter after show willingness to pay necessary notice pay it is advisable to send one notice to current college along withe cheque of notice pay and ask them to provide relieving letter with immedate effect in refrence to resination. Furhter if your relative require to work any other private company & relieving letter is not required wait for action from colege.
