Friends, We are facing with a weird situation where we are not able to control the outsourced employees attendance & we are ending up paying the whole salary even if they were absent for a day or two. Can someone suggest the methods to tackle this issue, need your suggestions at the earliest.

Monitoring the attendance,OT timings of our outsourced employees is a difficult task, request you to suggest the emthods to keep a track of all the above mentioned.
As of now these outsourced employees are entering in the attendance register kept at the gate and without entering the factory prenmises they are going back home and we end up paying them the salary for the whole month.

As mentioned by you, if they are not entering the factory premises then how come the work is getting done.
I suggest from the outsourced team, make someone reponsible for daily attendance and let this person give daily report to you either on phone or on person. Hope this sufices.

I don't know how you pay whole salary without theri presence in the organisation, as you explain it is tough to monitor them. It is very simple and basic theory is put a attendance register at the main entrance or put some biometric punching machins linked with your pc. It is very necessary for processing salary / measure productivity / budgeting altogether its good for your organisations and you out sourced employees also.

How much is strength of Employees. Please let us know that where is this premises located is it farway from where you sit or in the same premises. Ask the out sourced company to get the attendence register according to rule and also make them sign every 2 to 3 hours. Keep a sample signature with you of all the employees randomly check it whenever you have doubt. I think this should curtail down your problem of tracking the attendence. If this does not work then biometric system would be the only solution to this.

The idea of setting up a bio metric attendance hooked to the administrators PC looks fine, after going through your replies we have come to conclusion of installing the bio metric system.
Sandeep --> The total strength of the outsourced employees is near by 97 and we are on the verge of increasing the numbers.
Sujal --> Your idea would work along with the bio metric attendance system in place.
One more request, if your organization has installed the bio metric attendance system request you to approximately tell me what be the cost for implementation at our place?

For these employee 'A self Attendance sheet' shoud be prepared and submitted through the concern department head to the HR department. This is because the concern is mostly touch with the department heads.
