hello...im currently pursuing my mba and have to do project.. so can i please know how to conduct a 1month project on employee satisfaction on leave policy in a company...can u please help me out.. waiting eagerly for the reply...thank you in advance...

Leave Policy
Leave is not a matter of right of an employee, this is a benefit extended to employee by the employer.
It will differ from employer to employer and you will not find standard policy.
Generally following types of leave are given to employees
Earned leave
Casual leave
Sick leave (not for ESI covered employees)
Maternity leave (90 days)
Paternity leave
Emergency leave
The number of leave days differs from employer to employer and nature of employment as for international assignment leave policy will again differ.
Employee Satisfaction
The best will be through employee survey with the help of questionaire you may design by own by setting your parameter on which you will be conducting your project

As the employer and employee have a very dicey image on the type of leave obtained, as few components are carried forward to the next year and at one point it is enchased, depending on the company’s policy.
My company had just recently changed its leave pattern with only one component i.e. EL with 36 days each year where - 31 days is for leave and 5 days for LTA. This had made it much easier for the employees and definitely for the HR's who track leave management.
You can jot down a questioner with some few points like –
1. Giving the above option i.e. having only one component.
2. No of permission in a month and for how many hours (Pl give the option 1hr, 2hr etc)
3. Comp off option
4. An opportunity for the employees to also give some idea with regards to the subject.
5. Apart from that you also have other benefits under the leave policy –
1 Maternity,
2 Bereavement,
3 Paternity

well now im in a process of preparing a questnre.... well above points are helping me.... so in a qustnre im focussing on employee satisfactn on cl,sl,els.... and watelse parameters can i look forwrd to make my qustnre much effctv? and even im looking for the literature on leave ploicies and going through the Ap shops and establishments act too... so still how best can i work? how to make my project best? can i plz have your valuable inputs...thanku...
