Hi, I truly appreciate your initiative in helping others. I also need your help. I have changed my job. I want to withdraw my PF money but my previous employer doesn't want it. You are requested to tell me how would I withdraw my PF. I don't want to tell my previous employer that I am withdrawing from PF. Is it possible for withdrawing PF without telling him. Kindly suggest.

Dear Driksha
You can fill the pf claim forms (form 19 and form 10c) and get it attested by any gazetted officer and submit to the PF office, they will process.
But as my suggestion you can submit your claims after April'2010, because before that your previous employer have to submit the PF annual returns(Form 3A & 6A). If you submit with in april'2010 PF officer will be send your claims to your previous company to request for form 3A.

Hi,
It is possible to withdraw your PF by submitting the forms (19 and 10C) to a gazetted officer or bank manager. However it will be sent to your previous employer for confirmation and for certain accompanying forms like - Form 3A (The annual PF payment details), copies of Form 5, Form 10 and Details of break in service. The previous employer needs to furnish the above information for your PF to be withdrawn, and hence it is not possible to withdraw your PF amount without the knowlegde of the previous employer. Having said that your previous employer has no reason to reject your PF withdrawal application.
However if the present employer is covered under PF act, it is better to get the amount transfered because of two reasons :
1. The interest it carries
2. The continuity in service to be eligible for the pension.

Hi,
Yes, me too agree with Mr. kiran Kumar.
If you want to withdraw your PF without knowledge of Previous employer, withdraw it after april'10 with attestation of Gazetted office or your Bank Manager. becoz this is the time when employer has to fill annual PF Return.
Thanks,
Amit
