Hi All,
I got an experience letter from my ex-company mentioning my years of experience and designation and they have mentioned as i was absconding and hence relived from services of the organization.
as per the company policy employee has to serve 30 days notice period which he served zero days hence short fall amount has been recovered.
.....right now am working in a different company in contact basis and they haven't raised any issue about this certificate .please let me know if this certificate is worth having and will it create serious issues to my career
hoping for a reply
thanks

Hi Kumar,
The certificate which you have received from your previous co. is just for the for the sake of acknowledgement that your co. has released you from your previous job. which won't create any impact on your carrier rests assure. but also i would like to suggest that don't repeat this same mistake again, otherwise you have to bear the consequence........further.

hi sandy/soul
i have few more questions regrading my absconding certificate..........my management still didn't shortlist my name of becoming an on-roll employee i'm still with this company as a contract employee for more than 17months and just recently they have asked me to submit all my documents......is it because of my absconding certificate they are delaying it .....
am still confused about my future...
kindly need your replies from senior people here

Dear Kumar,
First and foremost, having an absconding certificate is not a good thing. I am not sure why our HR fraternity members have been telling that you should not worry. When you are being removed from a job because you were absconding, it means you have run away from your responsibilities. It does not reflect good on your profile at all. Even if you gave resignation but did not complete the notice period, you have effectively broken the trust and discipline of the company.
If you have submitted the same to your present company, it is bound to create doubt in their mind about confirming you as an on-roll employee. Try and have an open dialogue with the HR of your present company to settle any doubts they might have.
And if possible, avoid presenting this letter when you join a company. It is better to not have a reference letter than to have one that is giving a negative reference.

Dear Gaurang,
i wanted immediate relievement from my ex- company because of health reason thats why i paid the shortfall amount and quit the company. Moreover i was in that company for 3 years
i do not know how to avoid presenting this experience certificate in my future interviews...now i feel like a criminal by having this type of experience letter.
seriously i am very much worried now about my carrier...i will attach my experience certificate if u want to see it.

If the employer not giving experience certificate to absconded employee say IBM Bangalore then what can the employee do? Note the employee worked 3 years and 9 months.
