DEAR FRIEND,
I am Working in Engineer Company. I have found One Question As below. I can't understand :
1. If any employees working on weekly off. what should we give him?
2. can we adjust any Holiday Which is not Declared in policy with weekly off. if yes, what we will do with other person holiday which is another day sunday.
I.E. worker weekly off = Thursday & staff Weekly off = sunday.
we have declared that worker must come on thursday this day will adjust with the next holiday which is not covered under the holiday policy.
But Main Problem Is there :
What can i Do With other Employees those weekly off is Sunday. shall we count that holiday as absent ?

Hi Amar,
Yes you can adjust his leave/holiday which is not covered in your holiday policy as a compensatory off.
If your staff weekly off is on sunday than consider it as off day and if someone is coming on that day than give him/her a compensatory leave against the leave which he/she takes in the future.

Hello Amit,
For ur first question, according to me, you must give 1 day salary in addition, if any employee works on week off. That means 1 day payment should be calculated first. This 1 day additional salary should be given at the time of disbursement of salary.
I was unable to understand ur 2nd que properly...if u can eloborate it in simple terms i can help u....

But if the employee works on week off and takes week off on any other day, it should be considered/allowed. Depends upon company to company. No additional salary in this case bcoz he has taken off on some other day

Thanks For Valuable time spend for me..
you are in right way . I have mention above our w/o structure it is like this.
> for office staff - Sunday
> for production staff - Thursday
the point is that i had adjust w/o thursday with the festival which is not mentioned in our policy. it is ok.
but biggest point is that what should i do for office staff people they also covered under that festival because it for all. in other staff person use their sunday w/o. and take benefits of the that festival also.
i would like to make difference between production staff & Office Staff People in that case?

Dear AMIT,
i think a worker should not work continuously for more than 6 days. so after 6 working days he should be given a weekly off on 7th day according to labour rules.
one day extra salary comes into action when a worker does a OVER TIME (O.T) duty in addition to his Duty.

Dear Amit,
As HR Department Employee, we should take care of employee intention here.
what is the intention of employee before coming to the work on week half.
i thought that, here we need to consider employee intention, whether is he showing interest for money or holiday.
1. if the employee ready to take half for worked for week half, please allocate him half.
2. if he is interested to take salary for worked for week half, pay 1 day salary additionally here.

Dear All,
I want a help. In my last assignment, the MD hold a certain amount as Bonus and promised me to pay in Diwali. The amount was entirely included in my CTC. Now when I leave the organization, the MD refused to pay me the same. No where in the appointment letter or in the increment letter it was mentioned.
Suggest me what to do??
