Hi,
I am facing a problem in keeping my first work experience. I was working in a company X for 10 months after my college, then I joined Company Y (with company x exp.), after working over 3.5 years, I joined company Z(with exp X and Y) and currently working in Z for last two years.
As the company X is a small company, I was genuinely working and relived with exit process as per my resignation request. But they do not maintain the employee records properly, hr people keep changing and my manager and colleague has left company, i was always facing problem in verification. I have all the experience, relieving letters and my bank account statements of company X.
As I was always facing the problem in finding the reference contacts, So i have removed the
company X experience from my resume and accepted offer letter of a new company(included Y and Z experience in resume).
Will there be any issues that I have reduced my work experience by 11 months in my resume while accepting the new offer in a company

My dear Friend,
I don't see any problem at all in this issue. You should not have removed those 11 months from your profile as you have other documents to prove. I don't think companies will any more refer to the company in which you started your career but stop with those you worked with the immediate two past employers. In case of any issues, you can very tell the fact to the employer as the lapse is not from your side.
For most of us, my dear, the career journey commences from companies like X !! :-)
You seem to be so emotional in your approach - be bold and clear my dear young man - world is yours !

Thanks,
I was so much confused, because of problems I faced earlier in finding the contacts and references while working in Y and Z. As the company X does not have a proper hr system in place to support verification. No body was taking up the responsibility to provide references. So now I have removed the 10 months of experience from my resume after 6 years.
Instead of 6 years I have shown the 5 years.

Hello friend,
What Mr. Ramchandran has said is true. You can always show your documents with X company as a proof. If you remove that experience, you will always have to face the question what you did for those 11 months. I have experienced, even a strong reference of one employer is sufficient.
All the best !
