SShenoyB
Hello, I am SShenoyB(would like to be anonymous). I would like to know few things, before that let me brief you about current situation.
I started my first job in Mphasis Ltd as CSR in BPO from Feb 2014. In Jul 2015 got notified that Mphasis is going to be acquired by HGS.
So completed the documentation on 17/Aug/2015. The day of documentation i.e. on 17/Aug/2015 received a set of documents like letter of appointment dated 1/Sep/2015 from HGS, F&F letter from Mphasis and a letter from Mphasis stating I will be relieved from my duties from 31/Aug/2015 but still have not received relieving letter and experience letter. I requested my manager for the details on it and got replied that the relieving letter and experience letter will provided only at the time quitting the current job at HGS after serving the notice period. When contacted the HR got black mailed to be black listed.

Now, let me know what to do under this circumstances.
How do I get my relieving letter and experience letter from Mphasis?

Dear SShenoyB,
You have written about your requirement nevertheless, we still need further information to give suggestions of any kind.
In Jul 2015 there was notification on acquisition of MPhasis by HGS. But then were you told explicitly to put in your papers? Or was did you submit resignation on your own? Companies do get acquired but why this acquisition had bearing on your continuation in the company?
For enquiring about experience certificate, why HR got so annoyed and gave threat to you about blacklisting? Did you have friction with him? Did you press his wrong nerve inadvertently?
Give little more information.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar

Your existing company got acquired by another.
You got a new appointment letter and a full and final settlement letter from old company.
It was acquired, you were no terminated. So why are you asking for a relieving letter? Your manager has already told you that you will get relieving letter from the new company when you leave them. So why do you need to irritate the HR department when they have explained things to you so clearly ?

Dear SShenoyB,
The company has given you your F&F and also the appointment letter. Your are not unemployed. There is a communication to you that the releving letter, will be given to you on your exit from the new company.
So, what is the urgent need for you to get the letter, so immediately? If you are already leaving the new company, then as well, put up your resignation and then letters shall follow.
