Hi All,
I m looking at making a Women-centric hr policy for my organization.
I would like to know about the challenges that we would face and the kind of policies that already exist in the industry keeping the women population in mind.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. If you have any draft of similar policies, it would be of great help if you share it on my id .
Thnx

Some prevalent women-employee policies are:
Career Break - for further education, joining spouse on transfer, bringing up young child etc.
Late working policy
Flexi-working policy
Travel policy - Women employees can get the benefit of company car in case of off-site travel etc.
Some of these policies can also be introduced for male employees.

- I am with Mr. Vinod. Make good HR Policies without any bias or favor to any particular gender.
- In case, you are going to employ more number of women, then policies such as flexi hours may actualy hamper the office discipline and efficiency, since probably less amount of workforce is available when you need it most.
- I am also not sure what women centric policies can be made. (may be creches for children? what else??)
