Job profile for HR Generalist.
· The UNIT HR Representative (UHR) is responsible for facilitating and supporting the HR & Personnel administration activities of the unit that he is associated with. He should ensure that the unit is most likely to achieve the planned HR related activities. He may have such responsibility in relation to one or more Competency Center /Units or Corporate office at any given point of time.
· Ensure minimum response time, within which he is expected to deliver / close issues w.r.t. HRD/Personnel is maintained as per the ISLA.
· The UHR needs to be actively involved in meetings conducted and ensure flow of information at appropriate time to the concerned employees.
· He is empowered enough and has the authority to take decisions w.r.t. maintaining discipline/ decorum or any other HR / Personnel issue that is within the organization policy.
· The UHR provides Counseling support and acts as an advisor to the concerned unit employees w.r.t. HR/ Personnel issues and escalates to the management when necessary.
The Unit HR Rep. supports the Units (SBUs) and Corporate HRD initiatives towards the organization in following people processes:
Manpower Planning
Staffing
Competency Analysis
Identify Training Needs
Induction
Personnel Administration
Competency Development
Performance Management
Career Development.
Compensation (including Quarterly Performance Incentives)
HRIS
Peer Evaluation
Communication
Involved in internal audits/ assessment
