Hi All, I have been working as an English language coach and communication coach for working executives for 3 years now, as a part of external consultant.
I would like to explore more areas of training and development and Hr as well.
To be a part of bigger organizations, how do I start exploring such opportunities and how should I prepare myself, given the fact that I have had only a specific experience and exposure.

You should contact HR Training provider companies who get request from company and corporate time to provide training and hire external consultant. In non technical area there are vast opportunities in HR area to provide training. You may have to prepare yourself for these trainings to provide.

Thanks for your help, though i already work for such a consultant, which is rather small and growing, and now want to make a shift to a bigger organization, to have a greater exposure and rather a change of role.

I think you should first make a list of areas in which you are interested - either to give training or to work as an executive yourself, and that should also be related to your present background and education.
Then get yourself trained and qualified in those fields; it is hard work.
Next step is to explore companies which would use your new talents.
Meanwhile, in your present organisation itself, you could volunteer to do additional work assisting persons providing training in those areas you are interested. That will give you valuable exposure.
Best of luck

I would recommend you to enrol for the course called Diploma in Training & Development conducted by Indian Society for Training & Development, New Delhi. You get a comprehensive knowledge of T & D, as well as a grounding on HR practices.
