I have also received many such mails from all over the world stating that my profile has been shortlisted and these are all well known organizations and for a person who is in a need of a job, its really difficult to avoid such mails. My request to all the people who are getting such mails is please avoid such mass mails.

Dear All,
Another one here, can't we take an action to such fake interview call letters, the reason being is that people in HR are aware that this is fake, but for people from other streams like engineering, marketing, finance would really fall prey to such Interview call letters. Infact I had come across a candidate who had already paid Rs. 80,000 for his job in engineering, just coz he got a fake appointment letter.I think this unethical act needs to be stopped.

thats true many fake interview call even i received via email with the name of world leader industrialist. advice to dont trust on that employers who is asked to deposit any amount on the ground of security amt. for recruitment. beco,z none of reputed employer asked to deposit amount for hiring/recruiting candidate
