hi.m astudent still just completed first yr MBA. vl tk up specialisation in HR nxt yr.dnt have much details of wt has 2 be done but just a piece of advice dat " just luv ur job n nt ur company" coz in gud times d HR vl address 2 u as " dis is UR company n d credit goes to u" but during bad times like present during slowdown they wud say" dis is MY organisation n v r nt happy wid ur performance" n vl reject u widout a reason.ultimately ur kids n ur family vl question u 4 losing ur job n nt ur company. so its important 2 be alert n keep a distance 4rm d authorities coz they mite just use u in gud times in the name of delegation of authority but vl nt care wat u served them wen they dnt ned u anymore. so its ok 2 switch jobs as per ur satisfaction n nt give immense importance 2 "employee loyalty" since the officials of the company themselves dont knw wt is employee loyalty. n d above case is an apt example 4 it.thanx.

Dear,
With all the view, one thing is not considered at all. When a person return from any other unit -India or abroad- reporting to the concerned unit head and obtain the handing over charge report and the same should be submitted to HR. Many places this is done automatically. By default, many young executives miss this procedure and end up in similar situation. Do not say it is with MNCs only, it is a general practice all over the world.
Forget about the past. Try to make a new history. Join another company, perform and follow procedures and systems and be successful.

Dear KK Singh,
I found your request about management automation solutions in this thread dealing with hot discussion on 'employer Vs employee' tussle. All along the continuing thread, your question was a mismatch here. You wanted to pull the attention of all by cutting the thread but we have ignored. So post a new query and start over again with a new topic. Else the original post will loose flavour.

Hi all,
I read the posts of various members here and many have strong words for Mr.Ravi and many have complained it to be provoking.
He has spoken in anger that injustice is being done by HR department. See the victim is 'TheWayItIs' and blood boils in everyone of us. What does it mean? All of us speak the same language and Ravi was bit hard. He had said what he would have done in the victim's place for argument sake.
Gandhiji and Subash worked forthe same cause but in different style. One was in 'sathviga' and the other in 'dham-doom'.
When we see attrocities, don't we say in anger, 'we have to make these politicians stand in line and shoot down without mercy'. So did we all do it or do we practice that in life?
This is an open forum and many members voice their views. As a patient HR person, it is the duty of the 'TheWayItIs' to analyse, accept and reject the points discussed here.
So dear friends, let's not get provoked and loose our words here.
Fondly with regards,
Chandru

Dear Friend,
Let me express my view. I feel you are hiding some fact of your mistake and try to put all blames on the management. First, I don't think any responsible employee will go for such a long absent just for would be father in law. If you realy responsible, you should be report for duty after few days leaves. I don't think there will be no one else in that family to take care of him. The second think, from ur letter, it is clear that the HR department is not taking its own decision, but the instruction of some seniors. But as a H.R. person, I can't justify the actions of the HR Department. So you go for legal remedies, but without making so much noise, because, it will spoil your future career. No mangement will take an employees who has already any dispute with previous management. Before approch legal remedy, send a registered letter with copy of all documents to the top management.
All the best.
