Sir, compliance under ESI Act, 1948 and rules/regulations framed thereunder is compulsory and not optional. The present coverable limit of wages is only Rs.21000/- per month (excluding OT). Therefore persons getting wages Rs.35000/- per month (excluding Over Time) are not coverable and has no such option.

We all rely on notifications only and whatever Harsh Kumar has said is not an extract of news paper but from the Act only. We have posted the notification in this site many times and you can very well take it from the site.
Please mind that Mr Harsh is a member who has had a long and very meritorious service in ESI Corporation at a senior level and therefore, he knows more than what others in this forum and when you make comments please be more professional, sometimes your style of writing like I want notification.....and newspaper will not solve our problems etc are not at all professional.

Dear Mr Pathak,Please make reading News Papers a regular habit.Further, all Government (State & Central) Schemes, Laws, Amendments, proposals etc trickle down to all citizens through Print & visual media.Even before notifications are released, the same would have been published by news Papers.

Dear All
The limit proposed in 2013 by UPA Government. The NDA Government reduced and implemented it as Rs.21,000/- P.M w.e.f 01.01.2017 only. Any immediate revision will affect working class in private sectors. Hence, please do not get confused with old news.

There is no scope for any confusion if you follow the threads in full. It was opened on 20th September, 2013, ie, 4 years back when the Congress led government was in power and I had posted it following a press and we had a lot of discussions on the same. But when the BJP led government came into power this decision was kept on hold and the same was also informed to the members on 1st March, 2014 (please read post No 38) and when the decision of bringing it to Rs 21000 came, that was also made available. It is true that any person who takes it just by reading the headline will get confused but that it obvious and what is expected is that if we need to get complete picture of the post, you should read the comments one by one.

I feel you are re-posted what I said and offended for using the word confusion by me. I do not find any reason. Sir, I USED THE WORD confusion because issue of 2013 still in 2017 even after implementation of revised wages limit. If, you feel I hurt you, I am sorry. But fact remains the same as I mentioned and the post made by you are on same page with different words used by you. I also read the post no 38 too made in 2013 & thanks. Keep in touch & good going.
