Hi everyone. I am working as an HR for a start-up firm in the communications field. Recently we have crossed 20 employees and hence, need to get registered under PF & ESI Act. I was told that we need to check with our employees if they want PF to be deducted from their salaries or not. I need some guidance on this whole registration process and requirements if someone can help. Thank you in advance.

Dear Colleague,

Both Employees Provident Fund Organization and Employees' State Insurance Corporation are having on-line registration process which is normally to be done in the respective portal itself. It is not a tough process but you may visit the web-sites and understand what the documents to be uploaded and then proceed.

For your benefit kindly read the below articles and then try. Other option is to approach the PF Enforcement Officer of your EPF Office and ESI Asst Director for help and they will be guiding you with all updates:
