Government of India, in consultation with Employees' State Insurance Corporation, vide notification No. G.S.R. 599(E), has amended Rule 61-A of The Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules, 1950. The income limit for medical benefits for dependent parents has been increased to Rs. 9000/- from the earlier limit of Rs. 5000/-. The Gazette notification published is attached.
