One may apply for Voluntary PF registration even after reaching the Manpower strength 10, but still the actual Manpower required is 20.
In case of ESIC registration the minimum number of employees should be 20 covered employees (Salary less than Rs. 10,000/-). But yes if there is use of power then the number of covered employees should be 10.

The rate of contribution in PF is 12% of Basic salary from both employee as well as employer side..
In case of ESIC, the contribution is made on gross salary and the rates of contributions are -
Employee Contribution - 1.75% of Gross Salary
Employer's Contribution - 4.75% of Gross Salary
The ceiling for the ESIC coverage is gross salary Rs. 15000/- per month.
