If a company has branches with different PF establishment codes and if any branch is getting closed, what is the solution to transfer the PF members from the branch that is closing to another branch?

Closure of Branch and PF Transfer Process
Before the closing of the branch, the establishment (branch) has filed all ECR and completed the exit process for employees. This is necessary as the closure of the sub-code is dependent on these actions being completed by the branch.
Now, the employee can be enrolled in any other branch and file a transfer claim. The claim will be submitted with the option for approval by the "PRESENT EMPLOYER." Once submitted, the present employer will approve the claim with a DSC, and EPFO will execute it within a couple of days.

In that case, PF membership will be continuous or it will be fresh joining as PF member with current employer.

As there is no mention of the present status of employment today, it is deemed that the employees have joined the new establishment. The reply is based on that ground only. The old account will get closed, and the whole service history will get added to the new account along with the contributions and interest.
