Hi Savipan,

Hi,
I'm working for a private organisation since Dec 2015. I'm holding ESI card since January 2017 (as per the new rules my ESI is deducting from 4 months) I eligible to claim maternity benefits E.D.D (Deliver date) is in October 1st week. If eligible what is the procedure? I need to do.

The Act says that a woman can be entitled to "maximum of" doesn’t that mean the company can have a policy, which offers lesser number of days as maternity benefit?
