Dear colleague,
Are you referring to the production of the copy of the certified/model standing orders in the enquiry proceedings? If the enquiry officer directs so, then it is a must to produce.

Hi All,
I am seeking a way out in one of the misconduct cases. A worker was caught stealing things from the factory. We issued a charge sheet, conducted an inquiry, and found the worker guilty. As per the certified standing order, we terminated the worker.
In another case, a worker was found stealing things. We issued a show cause notice and a charge sheet where the worker accepted the charges and provided a written apology. What should be done in the second case where the worker admits to the misconduct?

Hi,
The ball is in your court. As the worker accepted the charges and submitted an apology, he may either be terminated or allowed to continue with a warning at Management's discretion. However, it wouldn't be prudent to allow him to continue considering the severity of the misconduct.
