Dear All,
My company has its registered & head office in Mumbai and two branches in Andhra Pradesh. Please clarify me on the following: -
1. They are registered in Mumbai. Do we need to register again in Andhra Pradesh?
2. All the statutory payments like PF, ESI & professional tax for all employees across India are being made to the Maharastra state govt. Do we need to make payments to Andhra Pradesh state for employees working in AP State?
With thanks & regards,

Please clarify what is your company into, secondly as Mr. Varghese advised for Shops & Establishment/Factory it has to be registered separately for all the branches
With regards to PF & ESI it can be at Mumbai (Maharashtra) for Professional Tax it has to be registered separately for each branch

Dear,
I could only suggest- don't rush, take time, understand the contribution of each & every existing department. As, a good part of HR work is done by accounts & admin. department, understand their contribution. Be patient, & take initiative. Don't show your capability. Work with your people & grow with them. You would have all answers at your doorsteps.
