Maternity benefit is applicable to women only, irrespective of their marital status. So men won't be directly benefited under this Act. You will be entitled to paid leave for 26 weeks as maternity benefit provided that the Act is applicable to your company and you have served at least 80 days prior to applying for the benefit.
