Hi,
I think you need to register under the Shops and Establishment Act. As only family members are involved as of now, you can define a designation in your company. Whoever joins you, you should give an appointment letter, and later, you can implement policies and procedures as per statutory requirements. It is a good idea to build the system when you are small and update it as per requirements. All the best.

Based on the information you have shared in this thread about your new business venture, I can suggest the following:
You are not facing a significant problem as indicated, especially at this stage of your new business. It would be more beneficial to focus on core business activities such as product development, streamlining production and supply, and importantly, acquiring customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
Since you do not have any employees, and all individuals involved in your business are family members, there isn't a need to implement HR systems. The small number of family members, likely not exceeding 5-6, who are part of the business can be considered partners rather than employees. Therefore, there is no requirement for HR software either.
From an HR perspective, currently, two essential tasks need attention:
i) Register your business under the Karnataka Shops & Establishment Act after thoroughly assessing the necessity and implications of registration.
ii) Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of all family members involved in the business to enhance the success of your venture.
