Dear Shaina,
Sorry for the belated reply. It was just missed from my sight. Normally, one should not issue an appointment letter to a casual employee because the employee is engaged on a casual basis and not for any specific period or in a permanent nature. The casual job can be completed on the same day or it can last for months.
If you are forced to issue an appointment letter to a casual employee, you can specifically mention the nature of the job or the time duration the casual employee is intended to be engaged. If you do not mention the details specifically, it can be treated as a permanent employee appointment letter. If such people need to be employed, you can outsource the manpower which will reduce legal complications.

Dear Shaina,
Please clarify whether it is a permanent employment or a temporary one. You can engage the food handler as you would engage the housekeeping staff for your office. You can follow the guidelines given in the Food Safety and Standards Regulations, 2011.

Dear All,
I want to conduct a SWOT analysis of the employees in my company as I work in a manufacturing unit. It is a packaging industry, and I lack technical knowledge of production, making it challenging for me to perform the SWOT analysis. Please suggest where I should begin. Due to this, I also seek information on the roles and responsibilities of each employee, from labor class to managerial level. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Dear Shaina,
Please visit the factory premises and have some interaction with the workers directly. They will surely give you some tips about their work and the function of the factory. After that, you can discuss with the line managers and shop in-charges and start preparing the duties and responsibilities of all the posts.
While going for the factory visit, please take notes of all the activities being carried out on the premises, so that you will not miss even a single worker or department.
Wishing you all the best.
