Hi,
In the payroll processing, one of our employees is marked as resigned by his reporting manager. But he still exists. HR is asking for new joining documents so that HR can roll out a new employee code and new PF numbers.
This faculty has not received a salary from September 2013 to April 2014. Still, salary processing has not been done for any of these faculties, hence 7 months' salary is on hold. Even though we are requesting HR to process his salary, HR's explanation is that PF and Salary fund instructions have been given, so they can't reverse it.
By doing so, the faculty will have 2 employee codes and 2 PF numbers, which HR is not willing to reverse. However, the faculty is not ready to resubmit the documents. How to proceed now? An urgent solution is needed as this has become a significant problem.
By the way, I don't have as much knowledge compared to HR, so I require your help. Please.
