i have installed the last version in Aug and still it is working fine and even an new version has no such comments. When you will download the software you will in the note that it's free for life.

I would like to update you on following things which I found over the internet. Though Orange HRM is free and open source there are lots of hidden charges. I have done one comparative study of 2 softwares. Please have a look at it. If you want some more info, please feel free to contact me.
COST INVOLVED IN ORANGE HRM
1. Basic Support = $ 50 per month that means, $ 600 per year
Note: Basic Support includes support only through emails in which response time could be 5 days.
2. Complete Support Service including training = $ 2000 per year
3. Hosted Service = $ 50 per month that means, $ 600 per year
4. LDAP Feature = $ 99
5. Export Reports = $ 50
Total cost involved in these basic features for one year
(2000 + 600 + 99 + 50) = $ 2749 that means, Rs. 123,705
After one year = (2000 + 600) = $ 2600 that means, Rs. 117,000 per year
Note: The dollar rate is assumed to be Rs. 45
