Hi Santa Monica
Nice to meet you
It is a great pleasure to know that you have appointed a female for the vacant position. The matter you raised for suggestion is also good. May I please know what made you think this? Does someone or she herself asked you about this?
Anyway it depends upon the location she is posted. If the place is not suitable for this person what are you going to do to solve this problem? I would like to know that. Anyway I request you to take a wise decision. Along with that I would like to give an Email address from where you will another male person who will fit for this job. Shall I please request you to note down this Email
You can mail to this Email, so that you will get good suggestions, advice as well as a person suitable for the same location or any other location if you have any more branches. May i please hope to receive a reply from you Santa Monica

I assume that, young women you are going to hire is fully briefed and made aware of her Job Location, Job Environment and Her Role. If she has accepted it with confidence then you need not worry. If she is having prior experience of working in similar industry / similar process and among males it will be an added advantage, though it is not a prerequisite.
It is not clear what do you mean by ‘Remote Location’. Generally industry in India is concentrated in and around big cities and towns and I am sure your vendor will also have his facility in similar location. Many ladies do jobs at different levels at such places and it is not at all a problem.
It would have been proper if you could disclose the actual location and kind of industry she will be working to give you a very clear advise.
Thanks & Regards

Hi
Greetings
India is not an Arabian country; Please do not look through that prism when looking at East
See China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indoneasia, Bangaladesh - capable women are treated the way they are treated in remote location in Europe or US of America
You can rest your mind in peace and have confidence that the lady will perform well
With best wishes for you and your company

Hi Santa Monica
I Am working as Hr executive i hve 3 yrs exp in my prevous company my major profile was recruitment pan india
My suggestion to you is its depend entirely on the position location and job profile
Still if its in remote area try to source somebody local cadidate
if you wans to hire female.coz if she is faraway from home she will not work for longer period with you initialy she may agree to do for good company and package. In india bachlor girls dont work far away from home they do it but if its in metro cities not in remote location
secondly if that female is married she will not ready at all to work.
Hence the only solution is try to source sombody who is local candidate or
you hire her for your head office in whichever city and ask her to visit that location once or twice weekly or monthly whatever you think right
If Possible send me job discription and location
hope you helped you bit

Hi
The question of gender bias does not arise, moreover there are legislations to take care of it. My only concern is that, let she be provided a safe working/residing conditions, although she has volunteered herself for the position.
Inspite of a lot of develpment occuring in this country, safety for women in a remote location is still a matter of debate.
Please take care of her basic safety and proceed further.

Good to see, all replies.
In my opinion and what i understood is, the work is related to vendors (gender-male) in remote areas, Right? In such case looking in other aspect, in general human behavior of remote class areas, an opposite gender ruling is much successful than same gender.
I hope ur org shall immense benefit by appointing a confident young woman in such job.
Secondly, history defines many of female leaders are world class, so hope for the best and good luck.
