I personally use https://writingcreek.com/for-beginners/ as a great freelance hub for beginners. It focuses on freelance jobs, and I managed to find amazing projects here. It is available for everyone around the world, and I think nothing is more convenient than WritingCreek. I have no idea how freelancers existed before. Finding a job had never been easier.

Freelance editing work and translation jobs are the hardest one, cause you need to schedule all your writing in order to not miss the deadlines. But remote type of jobs has it's own pluses - for some people working from home is a big advantage, you can work part-time and decide time when you're comfortable to work on your own. That being said, a lot of these jobs do require a ton of skill and you'll need to get some study done before jumping in, but writing jobs usually have an entry level for those who only begun their career.
