Dear Subh ,
I have read your problem in details and have gone through number of responses eliciting their views .

Dear Subh,
The ball game played in the HO and plant site are both different by virtue of their job nature. Where the job demands certain ways and rules, it must be respected. The Management may itself have understood this and framed rules accordingly. Incase, you are so bent on availing the benefits of HO, it is wise to get transferred back to HO, rather than fighting at plant site. By the way, if the top brass comes to know about your intentions (of availing benefits , in this case few days extra leave), then they may not view in the right perspective and this may prove a black mark in your career.
Better to get adjusted to new environment rules and regulations rather than complaining which can only ruin your peace of mind and may be your career too......
Remember" When in Rome, do as Romans do".
