Can you take a lead to coordinate in Pune and other Maharastra region? Anyone else takes interest in coordinating the participant in their respective regions it will help us in arranging the event. As my suggestion to have the event during second week of January 2008 tentatively, we welcome all of your suggestion in this regard so that we can discuss and finalize the date and location of the event.

Nice Idea.
Count me in for the meet 2008 if it is going to take place after march.
I think all those who are making small troops through local meets will be more useful to us as we shall be able to distribute the work region wise.
All those who have attended such meets will be known to each other and they will bring the better participation.
Do ask for the feedback for their meet so that we can get to know how to approach ppl in different localities.

Hi.. My Suggestion is we need to volunteer to repesent each region. For that we need to know among our cite HR network, lets know where all the members are from.
I mean to say let every body post their current location, Based on that i shall take the responsiblity to create a database which contains the following details

Age
Sex
Location
Email ID
Contact number
Membership status
we shall fix up a deadline to get the registration forms

Just some ideas. For these kind of meets there are lots of things to be thought.
A)There has to be a registeration, where they have to pay something, else such kind of meets dont work.
B)The location is very crucial.
C)There has to be a program associated around the meet (e.g For instance ISABS kind of event). It has to be Program based event.
D)It has to be deeply thought about.
E)If there is No take away from this meet, it may not work.
These are just my thoughts.
These are "food for thoughts", which we can think.
Lets Mull over it and invite ideas for the same.
Let me know , how I can contribute.

Thanks for your interest. In fact we have organised a Bangalore meet during August in Bangalore, and it was a great success. You can view the details and photos in CHR Meet Bangalore Photos topic. In fact Cite HR members from Bangalore, Hosur, Vellore have participated in the event. Even people from Hyd also shown interest in joining for Bangalore meet that time. Still they are in touch with me for the next event. After the success of it, I proposed this all India meet, as many of them were asked for it.
No probs, for less number of people from Mysore. You can join us and intimate about this event to your known circle of HR fraternities.
