i fully agree with the comments of all my friends. This indicates a clear understanding of the rule among all hr guys. Lets finalize - no need to give any notice period without any appointment letter.

Hello all, your point of view regarding appointment letter is absolutely right and i appreciate but I think prashant has missed one thing....that is that some companies which deals with highly confidential data like IT companies, research org, defense, aeronautical firm, etc have one condition - one clause in their agreement/rules regulations that after reading their NDA [NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT] although an employees refuses to accept job but he has to follow certain confidentiality and rules...! and if i am wrong in my explanation then seniors please correct me...!
