Before starting any Training programme, Conduct proper Risk Assessment of the Work place and the Jobs they are performing. From the results of the Risk assessment draw the Training needs for each Individual. Develop the training modules specifying the Objectives of the programme clearly.
Main idea should be to impart specific knowledge about safe operation and maintenance and to educate about safe storage & handling of materials and chemicals..
Some of the Examples for a Shop Floor
1. Hazards involved in the work place and the Control procedures
2. Emergency procedures- Evacuation,Mock Drills, basic Fire fighting etc.
3. House Keeping
4. First Aid
5. 5S etc.
