Hi all, I just need help in recruiting freshers. I've seen a trend of late where each and every youngster is complaining about not getting a job but when it comes to recruiting they are not performing well or faking the skills in their resume. Is it only me or is every recruiter facing the same difficulty?

Hi,

The primary reason being standard of education compared to 10-15 years before, has drastically came down. Even students with good score not able to answer questions which is asked from their subject itself. This had worsen further subsequent to covid pandemic due to online classes. The reason for decline in standard of education is due to lack of qualified, experienced Professors / Lectures and Colleges tend to manage with mediocre profiles who were paid less salary on one hand. On the other hand usage of gadgets among students, playing games or using social networks has resulted in adverse effects like difficulty in learning, not able to concentrate on studies etc. Students who were able to excel in their curriculum in spite of these hindrances are being placed through campus interview by premier companies leaving mediocre profiles to mid size companies.

Also the attitude of the Fresher's changed a lot. Everybody want a decent pay but less work hours, doesn't want to get committed by signing training agreements. Want to reach the pinnacle of their career by changing job for every 1 or 2 years.

This difficulty is faced across all industries.
