Greetings
I have done B.Tech-IT and i am about to complete my PGPM- Marketing & MBA-HR in next few days.My summer internship was also in HR.I want to utilize my B.Tech knowledge too. SO in long run i see myself in HR in IT companies but as a fresher i am not getting so many opportunities in HR. So i am confused should i wait for some good opportunity in HR or for the time being should i go for BD profile?? as there are more vacancies available in market for BD profile. Moreover every company is asking for experience in HR profile.Would you please suggest me what should i do?? If i start with BD profile now then later on, will it be suitable to switch after getting experience in BD?? Please provide your precious suggestion.

Dear Neha,
BD is different than HR.
It is a fact that market scenario for jobs especially for freshers is very stagnant. there are practically no jobs. I agree to it.
What you can do is instead of doing BD, you can take up a recruiter's role in a consultancy.
You can use your IT background to screen relevant IT profiles.
This way you can gain experience, you are not shifting from your goal of getting into IT industry as HR.
Hope the post helped you decide better. All the best.
