First and foremost, in addition to all compliance, please comply with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act 2013 and the rules gazetted on 9.12.2013. This is essential due to stringent penalties for non-compliance, which include, amongst others, the cancellation of licenses.

Dear member,
The minimum compliance checklist depends upon the number of employees and applicable acts. Please note there are some basic compliance requirements:
- PF
- ESI
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Maternity Benefit Act
- Leave rules (as per the applicable act whether S&E Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.)
- Sexual Harassment of Woman Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- The Employees Compensation Act
Since yours is a construction company, you must deploy a large workforce through many petty contractors, so the CL (R&A) Act, 1970 may also be applicable to you. You have to take care of the commercial and legal agreements with the petty contractors and ensure timely renewal of such agreements.
