Hi My name is Bhupesh I have recently joined a recruiting company n my boss is asking me to submit MIS reports Can anybody tell me how to prepare MIS reports? :unsure:

Hi Bhupesh,

As you require the MIS Excel sheet, it would be better if you prepare the

same at your end.Because it will help you to prepare other such formats too.

I am describing you the contents with sheet wise..

First Sheet-

Details of employee

a. E.Code b. Name of employee

c. Date of birth d. Designation e. CTC

f. Address for communication

g.Permanent address h. Contact number

i. Blood group j. Maximum qualification

k. Extra qualification l.Total Experience



Second Sheet-


Salary structure

In this sheet write down the complete salary structure.. and make a column what is salary after any revision

Third Sheet -

New Joinees

In this sheet write down the name of New joinees of that month with detail

like

CTC,

Designation,

DOB n etc.

Forth Sheet -

Resigned employees

In this sheet write the name of employees who resigned during

that particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining,

Date of resignation, last working day.

Fifth sheet -

Attrition rate

there are many many many MIS reports,, first ask ur boss what type of MIS REPORT,, then mail me on
I can also mail u formats of MIS reports once u confirm the exact type of report u are looking for,,,,

Dear Amit,
i appreciate the guidance you have given to Bhupesh. MIS in a recruiting company cannot be mroe than that. However, In the sixth sheet one more column may be added "Exit Interview". Because this would assist the orgn. to exercise adequate control over attrition. :idea:

Its a good point that you have raised but Exit Interview is different actions that can't be taken in MIS separately, that can be put in the sheet resigned employees.. Just add another column and write whether exit Interview done or not..???
I think it can be a better option to include Exit Interview.

I have gone through the detailed explanation given by Mr. Amith , I would like to add further,
1.How many employees joined in the particular month
2.Final settlements made for the employees during the month and how much amount has paid towards gratuity, leave encashment etc.
3.you have to calculate the rate of turnover in the company.

Dear Mahesh,
Just go through my points regarding MIS preparation once again.. I am just clearing your question point wise
You will get the details to write regarding new employees in the 3rd Sheet..
Regarding rate of turnover it is already detailed to do in 5th Sheet with the heading Attrition rate..
Regarding Final settlements made during a month, you may add another column in the 4th Sheet, with a heading status on Full & Final settlement..
Otherwise in my view no need to mention other details like how much salary been paid for Full & Final settlement..
thats an another statement that you do prepare at the time of preparing Full & Final settlement, so no need to include that in the MIS..

Dear Amit,
Its really useful information you have provided for updation of employees for quick retrival of the inframtion. Sir, i feel there should be one more coloum because at the time of increment it will help to have glance over it as what was their Previous salary,Date of Joining, Present Desigination, increment date, Incremented salary Total CTC . Pls give your sugesstions .Thanks
