Dear Sonala,
First you have to conduct a survey on which prospects your employees need the training. after that you have to bucket the needs or you can arrange a common training for all employees.
Some Awareness which all the employees would like to prefer,
1) IT Awareness.
2) Presentaion Skills
3) Business Communication Skills.
4) Core Related S/W Training.

after getting the needs you have to tabulate it. what kinds of training does the employees looking forward. you have to frame the modules for the training session. once you freeze the module it will be easy to do training.else you also contact some consultants or HR Solutions ask them to send the modules so that you can tie up with them for training.

Hi

Broadly there are two types of training that are imparted in most corporates.

The first is technical training which is inevitable to ensure that functional competencies are fined tuned and new practices imbibed.

The second are the soft skills training which focuses on improving personal effectiveness. These could cover a wide spectrum of topics. To get an idea of some of the soft skills training you can visit www.actspot.com and click on the link titled "courses'.

Nirosh has already given you the right suggestion to do a Training Needs Analysis to understand the training requirements of your staff. Thereafter, identify the specific areas of training required eg. Communication Skills could include sub topics like Effective Email Communication/ Presentation Skills / Improving Grammar and Effective Drafting Skills

Since your focus is on soft skills particularly related to motivation, employee engagement etc. I would invite you to also visit the following Inspirational and Motivational Blogs

Dear Sonal,
Training need identification is the first step which is based upon the assessing the performance of the employees by his/her supervisor during annul performance review.
You need to prepare training calendar/chart taking into account training topic, type of training, training institute, location, cost, duration and projected output of training on employee performance.
This is prepared for the calendar year and need to be approved by the management.
You may search in Google to find document related to conducting training for more update feel free to contact us.

The previous comments are spot on about determiningg training needs. Is there a performance issue that training will remedy. As for the need to motivate employees. What's the issue or issues causing a need for motivation. What do employees believe will motivate them?

after providing training an evaluation is necessary and make a cut mark. Those who could not achieve the cut mark they need further trg. on same. regards asis

In addition to what has been said, based on my experience, I think inclusion of Senior management and few participants in identifying training needs and designing the content could help a lot. This will help you focus on specific needs and customization of the content including exercises.
This helped me in my career.
