HI everybody,
This is Priya, i am working as a admin executive in one of a branch of my company. Actually this is a separate division. i was hired by my division head and i got good name in division as well as in my head office.
Now in my head office there is a vacancy for Hr executive job. As a MBA graduate i have an idea about to ask that job even though i don't have an experience in that field.
Now what my concern is if i suppose ask that job will my HOD allow me to take that job? will company give me a chance to prove myself in HR field too?

As per my opinion you should go ahead and have a word regarding your interest for the HR Executive post to your division head , as there are chances that he may recommend you to the said position as a result there may be good chances of getting the job and after that you can speak to the hr people at corporate office. As per my experience my friend was in customer relations and as she completed her mba - hr she got shifted to hr in the same company.

i am also facing the same situation. i am executive admin in one manufacturing company. as i also show my intrst in hr field and my md gave me chance also..... but again after five month as per managment dicision iam working as same in admin deparment.... no body giving respect to admin executive and after chnging profile form hr to admin its diffcult to work here. so you can try your best..........
