Its gr8 to see new amendments introduced by Tamilnadu govt to the existing Tamilnadu safety officer rules,2005
Anybody who have studied a safety course from Institute /college which was recognized by AICTE /UGC /DGFASLI. Such horrible rules before for appointment of safety officers which ensures only students from certain money looting colleges are eligible to appoint as safety officer irrespective of working experience, knowledge with respect to other.

Even if a native of Tamilnadu had done MTech in industrial safety from NIT, Durgapur or from UPES or Post diploma from other approved institutes but still barred from joining as a safety officer at Tamilnadu with that existing law clause. Because of that native of Tamilnadu people too suffered a lot. It makes sense now. At least it will stop money looting colleges demand.
