It is true that all mails goes through IT's net scan But it is so difficult to check and verify that what was the document and it is for whose use. Eventhough, Pendrive is able to download all important data. If you have some technical suggestion to avoid this. Pl share

Doesnt matter i like both of you guys.
The solution is NOTHING, You cant do anything to stop employees from stealing your data, the only solution probably is keep it out of their reach.
Cause from what I have experienced the employee with no ethics will steal the data however possible, if not by mail or usb but then by printing if the data is in his reach.
I am certainly not a Cynic.

Documents and data give a broad meaning, to a limited extent you can protect from others, normally those confidential items are handled by managerial staff, people should learn to behave for themselves, we get confidentiality documents signed at the time of employee joining, to break there are possibilities.
To arrest, you have to make your arrangements and measures, depends upon your company requirements and so on. There are ways but no assurance those cannot be broken.
From your employees side, if they are really brilliant enough they don't have to steal anything from the company, every thing needed are enormously available over the net. This is my experience and humble opinion

But I just cant do and dont do any of above. coz there are persons who trust me ,,, and I cant break their trust..

I completely agree with octavious the only possible solution to protect sensitive data is to give data in parts or use the same data with codes which would help the company to protect the data.
An additional soln. is to incorporate a feeling of responsibility in the personnel to whom the data is shared also make the person accountable for the data.
Hope the above solves issues with data theft.
