Dear Members,
I have discontinued my studies in 2nd year Inter long back. Started working with various companies. Now i would like to pursue my further studies. I heard that some of the institutes are institutes are offering DBA, MBA, PGDiplomas etc. based on work experience and with a minimal education qualifications, these institutes are not recognized by UGC / AICTE. Is this the better way to go ahead and study?
Will this certificate is valid?
Please suggest me...

Hi
They are not considered for large organisations. But those degree will be considered in Small & Medium organisations. Instead of having no any degree it is better to have the same atleast in non-recognised institutions.

Dear Radhik,
If at all you are pursuing your further studies through distant education... make sure that you are doing it in good universities..
It is true that something is better than nothing as said by Mr. Jeevarathnam... but when you are doing it... its good that you choose the best... which has value...
Anyways.. its up to what you choose and what you want to gain and achieve...Ours is always a free advice...
Taking it and leaving it is left to you..
All the best..!!

Hi
Even I guessed as there is no eligibility criteria. That is the reason I suggested accordingly. I you feel as you will get in any good institutions even it is non-recognised that is fine. Because there is no other option.

There is no age for learning and studying. There are universities which are running courses for persons who are not even qualified even minimum. You ave done your inter. You may join a degree course conducted by any university right now without wasting time. your future depends on your education only. There are some private institutions who run diploma in Bus mgment ( even universities) you may join this university and get qualified. Without wasting time join now and be benefitted

Dear Radhi,
I suggest you to take up DBM (Diploma in Business managaement) in Indian School of Managment, Mumai.. 1 year course which is equivalent to a degree course if I'm not wrong..! Its not a very good recognised university but you can take a degree in it.. and make sure that you will do your post graduation in a recognised university..thereafter..

Bharghavi

You should study only a recognised course.Otherwise, it will be a mere wastage of time, money and energy.Minimum graduation qualification is necessary to get any good job in the market.Do not loose your confidence for your inability to complete it in the past. There is no age bar to education.I would advice you to try for it again. If in addition to that you join a diploma course in computer from NIIT,that will be a very valuable qualification in the market. You first of all join NIIT to be followed by your admission in graduation course. For graduation, it will be better ,if you try for B.Com.

Any institute/University/degree unrecognized by UGC/AICTE is technically, not a degree at all and you will be at a serious disadvantage.
Several programs are offered by bonafide institutes/Univs - search for them and enroll in one of those which works for you.
