Hi!
Need to conduct a behavioural training for the clerical staff who have experience of 25-30 years and more than 50 year age working in PSU. Please suggest topics...purpose of the training is to bring a positive change in their work attitude.

Dear Amrita,

Are you from that government organisation or you are external training provider? Who has chosen the training topic as "positive thinking" and why? Those who have spent 25-30 years in the organisation, those who are 50+ yet for them, why "positive thinking" is a challenge? Is this a topic to be to taught for that level? Why their Officers or Managers are unable to foster positive thinking amongst their juniors?

Your query is not for one of the odd employees but group of persons. Why negative thinking persons are allowed to continue? Are they not liability to the organisation? Are they not liability to the nation? They are liability to the nation since their salaries are paid through the taxes a common citizen pays!

I am surprised at the choice of the topic and your query as well. There is whole lot of material on the internet yet you chose to raise query for this basic topic then are you fit to handle the training? Inability to search training topics on one's own, is this positive thinking or negative thinking?

More than positive thinking, what is needed is soul-searching for your client and yourself. Sooner you do it the better for everyone!

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
