Please find attached the memorandum from TN commissioner of Labour for your reference, No company should work or request the employees to compensate on other day for the paid holiday on April 18th 2019 ( Thursday) as per section 135B of the representation of the people act 1951.
In addition, Labour department would setup the state and district control room on 18th April 2019, Labour Office will record all complaints received from employees and will be sending the notice and penalty amount to the organizations those who are deviated. Please adhere the GO strictly and reach us if you need any support.
