Hello Members,
I recently conducted a test on Emotional Intelligence, for people at manager level. Based on the score, I gave feedback for every employee with a .ppt attached on what "Emotional Intelligence" is all about, and how to implement it.
Well - I tried making a mix and match with all ppts what I have on Emotional Intellignece (EI). I tried making it a simple "7" slides ppt.
Attached please find the PPT.
Thanks!

Good one. Yet, if you can share the test that you have conducted, it will make more sense. Through that it will be easy for you to convey meaning and easy for us to understand it. Keep it up. Thanks.

Dear Ash,
Thanks for posting useful and needed ppt.
As requested, if there is a possibility to share the test conducted, would be of more insight to get in depth knowledge on it.
with best wishes and regards,

Dear Ravi,
The test "belongs to the company" and so I would not be able to share it. Had it been in any e-book, I would have definitely sent the link.
However the ppt is not the "feedback". It's just an explaination on what EI is and how it can help you.
**The ppt is something that I have worked on, but the test belongs to the company - and not my creation.

I am so delighted to read them in a very well said yet concised presentation...In due recognition to you, I have shared this moments with the general nursing staff along with the middle managers in a meeting..It was an open ended question with an enthusiasm after reading both!!!!
It is truly a presentation serve for its best purpose...and I wish to recognise this effort of bringing this piece to the HR family...Thank you once again.

Hi Ash,
It is very nice and compressed ppt. The way u used pictures and quotes makes it more easy to understand and effective. I have learned a lot from this ppt. Actaully I was not much aware about the concept of EI. Also "HOW TO MAKE EFFECTIVE PPT" is another good lesson for me. Can you suggest me some books for reading? Also I want to know more about EMPATHY.. Can u suggest some reading for it also?
Thanks Dear,

Dear Dipti,
Thanks for your views.
How to create Effective PPT: To be frank, I have not read any books. But I have followed the following notes (which was passed on to me by my Professor Ms. Sumathi - MY Ogranizational Behavior professor!)
a) People going through PPTs have a tendency to remember points when displayed with pictures
b) People lose interest after the first five slides - they just go through it for the sake of completing it.
c) Lesser animations - the more the impact. Use only when emphasis is required.
d) Add humor and creativity. (you may google for cartoons and work related pictures that can even convey a serious message in a simple manner and YET get it across to others how serious it is)
And because you asked me - I googled and found a presentation on scribd. Chk this link - www.scribd.com/doc/.../Developing-Effective-Presentation-Slide-Decks
For empathy related material please try reading:

Hope the above helped you!
