Hello Sir
1) Please let me know what is the market salary range for Marketing Managers who has 5+ years of experience and Sr. Marketing Managers who has 10+ years of experience. Our team members do marketing activities across countries and deal with international clients but they are working from Chennai.
2) Are there any specific websites which will help us to find out the market salary scales for all categories in software company. I tried with Glassdoor but didn’t get much information from this. Please suggest
3) What should be their annual appraisal hike % if they are good performers.
Waiting for your valuable inputs
Thank You

Hi Mekala,
Here is my point-wise reply to your queries:
1) Why to re-invent the wheel ?
There is no need to go for Salary Benchmarking Exercise as I will inform you free of cost sources to get the required data (however, same will be an approx. range ± 10%).
The results will be available through multiple sources, as salary benchmarking data typically needs five broad parameters: Industry, Region, Experience, Position and Level.
Before, I inbox you privately (not publicly), do let me know if your company is too small ?
OR You just want to get an idea of a particular position only ?
2) NO
3) If your company is doing well, do support your top management if they are going ahead with increment as per Industry practice.
However, It should not be anyway below inflation rate for that Fiscal Year.
